This course builds on the knowledge and skill from our  

Level 1 GMP Course

Level 2 Hazard Analysis Course

and is intended to ensure safe manufacturing/processing, packing and holding of food products for human consumption in the United States and fulfills the ISO 22000 Food Safety Training requirements if outside the United States. You may have developed the prerequisite knowledge through our or similar training or workplace experience.

The regulation in the United States requires that certain activities must be completed by a “preventive controls qualified individual” who has “successfully completed training in the development and application of risk-based preventive controls”. This course was developed by using the FDA-recognized standardized curriculum. Successfully completing this course is one way to meet the requirements for a “preventive controls qualified individual.” as is required in a food production / coffee roasting facility by law.

 

If you do not have a documented and utilized sanitation standard operating procedures, equipment cleaning & maintenance procedures and a functional understanding of what a hazard analysis plan is - DO NOT ENROLL IN THIS CLASS.

The above listed are prerequisite programs required by statute that must be in place before you can have a food safety and recall plan.

If you do not have them, there are many options available to you to develop them. Please consider our Level 1 GMP course and / or our Level 2 Hazard Analysis course.
